The Difference Between Pure Form Omega and Other Plant Based Oils: Borage Oil

Pure Form Omega Strikes at Diabetes Again

Another just released paper (http://www.thelancet.com/journals/landia/article/PIIS2213-8587(17)30307-8/fulltext#) shows that Omega-6 is indeed more important than Omega-3 when it comes to type 2 diabetes. The paper is based on studies accumulated over a 40 year period with blood samples from 39,740 adults followed over a cumulative 366,073 years. It is by far the most definitive paper on how lipids influence type 2 diabetes. So the verdict is in.

It's Official- Canola Oil Needs to be Avoided

A new study published online December 7 in the journal Scientific Reports by researchers at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) associates the consumption of canola oil in the diet with worsened memory, worsened learning ability and weight gain in mice which model Alzheimer's disease (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-017-17373-3). The study is the first to suggest that canola oil is more harmful than healthful for the brain. In a mouse experiment, the consumption of Canola Oil caused a shocking degree of brain impairment. These particular mice are used in experiments with Alzheimer's Disease.

The American Heart Association New and Dangerous Dietary Recommendations

The recent Presidential Advisory on Dietary Fats and Cardiovascular Disease (http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/early/2017/06/15/CIR.0000000000000510) is fraught with conflicts from the food industry. The recommendations in it are dangerous and contradict known biochemistry. The promotion of soy, corn and canola oil is directly against my recommendations for health.
